Spring Healing

We are thriving with the amount of sunlight we are getting! We are able to have more energy, even though we may be pushing through sedentary winter bodies, we are feeling the full effects of Spring. The temperature is just about perfect and the flowers are in bloom.

As we push ourselves with bursts of excitement and activity, getting our mitochondria working and metabolism flowing, remember to take time in between pushes to intentionally breathe. If we have been away from this deeply connected feeling, this inward focus, we may be feeling disconnected and stressed.

Close your eyes, and focus on one thing, and one thing only, with passing thoughts, sounds, and feelings, and go into your zero point of stillness, your central channel. This central channel can be found in the center of your body and spine, the center of the galaxy, and also in each and every cell, and in all the spaces in between. This is where we intentionally breathe and create.

The Light Body #5 is the Physical Body, the flower, the fruit of the plant or tree. This is the part of life where all other light bodies connect. This is where all life communicates to all other life, the carrying of the seed, into the fruit, back into the Earth for new sprouts and life. Life into death, form into subtle. It can all be experienced in the body, the budding flower. 5 fingers- 5 toes- 5 senses

The body intersects the spiritual and the physical. The body is the meeting point, the midheaven, of earth and subtle, the subconscious and the conscious. It is 5, the midpoint between 1 and 10, the middle way, the connection, your alter on which you find the sacred of all life. To fully feel Earth and the Heavens, we need to be connected to our body and our senses, yet not feel the overload of too much stimulation. This is where our parasympathetic nervous system kicks in!

In order to truly care for our experience, we need to strengthen our nervous system, while at the same time flexing the "muscle" of our mind's ability to calm and restore. This is the great balance of the masculine and feminine, the bold electric and the magnetic. Forces found in each and every one of us, and ideally getting stronger and wiser as we age, not declining!

With deep focus, intention, and presence, with deep listening, with the help of the magnificent ability of our mind's capacity to heal through the endocrine system, we can restore.

"Checking-out" is not a healing method, although quite alluring. It simply builds up subconscious thoughts and feelings that are unprocessed, clogging our nervous system so we become either numb, burnt out, or both, which is called in the Kundalini world, Cold Depression.

In states of cold depression, we are like zombies running on autopilot. We react to events and situations, and even worse, have underlying layers of stress that we may not even be aware of. We often live in the past or future, and our sense of belonging to something greater is lost in the shuffle of the day. Pleasure, imagination, sacrifice, and deep listening are all qualities to cultivate and bring about a sacred space for healing, a nurturing environment within, and without.

For our bodies, the chemicals, feelings, and reactions that are happening, make no differentiation between physical visceral experience, and the memory of it, or the idea of it. When we imagine, we create actual feelings and sensations, just as though we were actually experiencing them. So the way we "remember" an event, the way we "see" our lives, is very important to our flow of life. This is the #7, our Auric Light Body, the way we "color" our life. 7 colors of the Rainbow- 7 notes of a musical scale- the 7 steps to heaven or hell.

We can remember feelings, traumas, and undercurrents of stress. They become a part of our aura. We radiate this projection, or in some cases, cave in or create an outer shell. This auric field is our electromagnetic field emanating from the heart. It communicates to our cells and tells the endocrine system what hormones to create. Our mind and heart's projection literally creates the expression of our DNA. It is the healing code of all creation, and it begins in our ability to attune, to imagine, our 3rd eye, the pineal gland.

This is the Master Gland that grounds you into zero point. The ability to wipe clean the slate of all that you've created so you can deeply focus on one thought at a time, one memory at a time, one Universe within One Cell, that takes root and creates your reality.

This command center comes into fruition with the ears, nose, mouth, and throat. The 5th Chakra, the creative force. It is based on the Earth and Ether element, the pure sound of your vibration, your word. The vibrational origins of sound.  The sound from which all sounds arise.  Have you ever found a word that invoked a feeling of bliss? This is your pineal gland creating an image or vibration, and sending signals to the glands in your throat. Or maybe a word that triggers an emotional response? What power the word has? What power lies within your communication skills within and without?

How do you talk to yourself? How do communicate with all that you've created in your being? Are you as gracious with yourself as you are with others? Or do you deflect your own hurts onto others to avoid pain?

This is not talk therapy, it is feeling into your creation through the power of thought as a living consciousness. Accessing this creativity within you to find new pathways in the body/mind for experience is essential. Being able to imagine ways of being or what a way of being feels like is an abundance practice. You can create your own abundance simply by focusing on the uncreated, the possibilities. This is infinite gratitude and abundance, finding the whole world in a grain of sand.

Imagine your central channel, imagine this creative potential within your body and within your perception of space and time. Focus on your innate power within, the infinite Universe of every cell of your body. Breath deeply, and know there is a way through every block. You are super just by being human. You deserve to know yourself deeply and to love yourself and others more and more every day.

Come journey with me anytime. I can affirm for you your "imagined" states of being, and assure you they are very real and very much deserving of expression, validation, and healing. You are a blessing to this expansive world, and you are deserving of the deepest love from the depths of your being.

No matter what the trauma, or how trivial you think your situation may be, trust me, nothing is trivial, and nothing is too much that it can't be healed one step, one day at a time. It is all vital energy waiting to be "sacrificed" on the alter of your physical consciousness, a veil that can be uncovered to reveal a beautiful truth. The truth that your experience matters, and you are worth cultivating. The beauty that always was, and always will be.

Morning Sadhana

Yogi Bhajan

Why do We Get Up for Morning Sadhana?

Wisdom, Commitment, Consistency

Why do we get up for morning sadhana? Because we have to face the whole day, and we cannot face the day without a constant level of energy. People love you for three things only: wisdom, commitment, and consistency.

Wisdom is the intuitive nature that allows you to give the right answer by listening within the question that is asked. For every question there is an answer in it.

Commitment is the ability for your whole self to sustain its status in projected reality of action. Then people can trust you. Otherwise, it is like building a cozy bungalow on the top of a volcano. If you act like an earthquake or volcano, who will build upon you?

Consistency is steadiness through time. Sadhana gives us sensitivity to know, to feel, and to touch. It gives us intuition to touch reality. The methods are three-fold: jappa, tappa, sanjam. Jappa is repetition. Tappa is the heat of central impulsation.  Sanjam is merger through simran—meditation on a very slow, conscious breath.

In your consciousness, you must find a time to ask yourself three questions:

How much am I a part of the I which made me what I am?

During my working day, during my existence, during my awareness, how much of the time have I been aware that I am part of the greatness that I am?

What can I do to extend myself to the greater I AM of which I am a part?

In finding the answers to these questions, you will find your way from the realm of finite ego to the realm of higher consciousness, and you will have the experience of total relaxation into mental happiness and contentment.

Group Sadhana

All for One and One for All

Your body is the temple of God, and your soul is the Divine Guru within.  So, you get up in the morning, meditate, chant the mantras, do the exercises, call on your spirit, regulate the breath, and you get together in group consciousness.  In that way you help each other.  Group consciousness in morning sadhana is to help each other.  If I am trying to sleep, another is not sleeping.  If, in this whole group, one person opens up to God just once, we will all be blessed in his openness. That is what matters.  If one has walked into sadhana with heart and soul in a prayerful mind, we will all benefit. That is the power of the group sadhana.

But, we still have something of the past in us. We bring up worries about who should lead. “Oh, that leader has brought a very good sadhana!  That one has freaked out the sadhana.” The truth is that nobody freaked out the sadhana, and nobody made it beautiful. It is the will of God which prevails through the soul.  When you are a servant, and act as a channel, it prevails through you.

If, in morning sadhana, one cannot curtail the barriers and get to Oneness, I don’t think there is any other time it can happen. All for one, and one for all. That is the principle.

Individual Sadhana

If you must do sadhana by yourself, then while you are chanting, imagine a million others all around you. Hear them all chanting, with you in the middle, not moving at all. Feel that you do not chant physically, and yet are leading the chant and letting the chant lead you. As you imagine this, continue chanting.

The Aquarian Sadhana

The Aquarian Sadhana attunes your gunas, your chakras, and your mind to the change of the Age. We will need intuition, stamina, both physical and mental, self-awareness, and a new depth of spiritual experience that can hold our identity in the face of global changes, relentless competition, information overload, and ecological and environmental challenges.

The Aquarian Sadhana is practiced by Kundalini Yoga communities across the world. Doing sadhana in a group develops group consciousness. A group sadhana practice amplifies the impact of the meditation. It is said that group meditation not only adds to individual effort but multiplies it.

Sadhana can be done as a group or individually. The ideal is to join in a group practice AND cultivate your individual practice as well.

Pre and Post Surgery with Celery Juice, Dandelion Juice, and Beet Juice

Are you fighting an illness, and autoimmune disease, preparing or recovering from pre or post-surgery?

I have a secret weapon: Celery Juice

Any kind of juicing will be so very important in your healing journey. Depending on your situation, your recipes may differ. But one thing remains constant, your morning routine.  Morning routines are so critical. In the Kundalini Tradition and Sikh Tradition, we chant the Japji every morning and practice Sadhana. This sets our vibration, our mind, and our mind's immense power to produce lovely chemicals and vibrations. We are literally creating a new reality, a new aura, a new body, and field every morning with our Sadhana.

What we put into our bodies first thing in the morning is also just as important. On an empty stomach, fresh celery juice will help heal autoimmune disorders, inflammation, bacteria, cancer, and many more amazing benefits.

My recommendations for morning routine is celery juice fresh made at home or large organic, cold-pressed pure celery juice from Whole Foods or Kroger. It is already prepared for you, so you have no excuse!

I also recommend a high Vit C juice/drink with cranberry, orange, spices, and coconut to heal the reproductive organs and soothe the lymphatic system.

Finally, Beet Juice and Green Juices cannot be beaten with their ability to cleanse the blood and assist the entire body in healing.  Using lime, dandelion, parsley, and cucumber are amazing for the liver and lymphatic system, while beets, apples, ginger, lemon is so healing for the gut and the blood.

We do provide juice cleanses for you when requested when planning for a surgery, cleanse, or recovery program. A large 64oz jar of juice is $50. ($10 is refunded when you bring back the jar!) It is recommended that you get 3 Jars (One Celery, One Beet, One Green) before and after surgery.

These can easily be ordered at Kroger or Whole Foods, just make sure you are getting all organic ingredients and getting enough to really fuel your body into healing.

Order your Juice Cleanse here.

Kundalini Yoga Traditional "Tuning-In" Mantra and Closing Prayer

ADI MANTRA

ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO

I bow to the Creative Wisdom, I bow to the Divine Teacher within.

"Oh transcendental, transparent, “Guru Dev” is transparent. “Dev” means transparent. “Guru” means who brings light into darkness. I bow to you, “Ong Namo,” Oh creative total self."

This mantra is used for “tuning in” to the divine flow and self-knowledge within each of us and linking us to the Golden Chain of wisdom. It is chanted at least three times before practicing Kundalini Yoga.

It is also very useful when we just need to be focused.

MANGALA CHARAN MANTRA

AD GURAY NAMEH

JUGAD GURAY NAMEH

SAT GURYA NAMEH

SIRI GURU DEVAY NAMEH

I bow to the primal wisdom. (before time began)

I bow to the wisdom through the ages. (When time began)

I bow to the true wisdom.

I bow to the great unseen wisdom.

To clear the clouds of doubt and opens us to guidance and protection. Mangala Charan Mantra can also be included after Adi Mantra when tuning in to a Kundalini Yoga class or personal practice.

The closing song is an Irish Prayer of Light and Love. Learn the short closing prayer here. Find information on how this Irish song found it's way to a Kundalini practice here. Here many different versions of the song here.

MANTRA: MAY THE LONG TIME SUN

MAY THE LONG TIME SUN SHINE APON YOU

ALL LOVE SURROUND YOU

AND THE PURE LIGHT WITHIN YOU

GUIDE YOUR WAY ON

Source: Incredible String Band; Irish Blessing

This song has become the blessing used to end the Kundalini Yoga classes. It is used as a closing prayer along with three repetitions of Sat Nam.

Benefits of Lymphatic Drainage & Cavitation

Cavitation is a new revolutionary fat removal technology that does not require surgery – it is a body sculpting treatment that provides immediate loss of fat cells. Cavitation requires no anesthesia, no scarring, no discomfort, and best of all, no downtime resulting in instant loss of fat cells. Cavitation technology converts fat cells into liquid which can then be drained by your body’s own natural filtration system. We utilize a unique cavitation technology that allows for non-invasive removal of stubborn fat deposits that never seems to disappear no matter of your diet or how hard you work out. Cavitation is suitable for both males and females who want to get rid of stubborn fat in areas such as the abdomen, buttocks, flanks, back, hips, and thighs.

Benefits of Ultrasound Cavitation Treatment:

Improve blood circulation & lymphatic circulation.

Improve skin texture.

Body tightening.

No surgery / no pain.

No anesthesia.

Fat loss.

Cellulite improvement.

Circumference reduction.

Whether you’re planning cosmetic surgery or surgery related to an illness, lymphatic massage is a great way to speed up the healing process. However, if you have not had surgery or a lymphatic massage, you might not know how to prepare for the massage or the pain after your surgery. With that in mind, I decided to share some helpful information regarding post-surgery massage and what to expect.

Every surgery causes some sort of swelling. The buildup of fluids in your body and around the surgical incision area needs to be relieved and eliminated. To prevent that build up, doctors often recommend compression garments and lymphatic massage. As you receive the massage, toxin-carrying fluids are flushed from your body properly.

Smoking Cessation

December 4, 2019

I have quit smoking so many times and the most important thing is that you feel safe enough to quit and have peace of mind (all the right elements without all the triggers) and the endurance (you will only have to endure really 3 days of suffering).

Getting the nicotine out of the body through detox, FIR Sauna, intermittent fasting, Niacin, MediCupping are all really great.  You want the residue out of the body to lower your cravings.

During my sessions, I typically work with finding a deeper breath.  Smoking creates scar tissue around the lungs and diaphragm, causing shallow breathing.  We want to do breathing exercises and massage to break through this scar tissue and expand the lung capacity.

After that, in order to stay smoke-free, you need to keep yourself away from triggers.  Drinking, other people that smoke, and any toxic people or behavior that may lead to anxiety and smoking.  Think of smoking as your friendly reminder that you are not in the right place or state of mind and something needs to be addressed.  Once you've identified your triggers and removed yourself from them in the way you feel appropriate, it will be very simple to stay smoke-free.

Have accountability friends.  Have friends, family, and people in your life that influence you to stay smoke-free.  This may mean making new friends and establishing new environments. If it's situational, planning so these situations have an alternate plan is imperative.  I have found meditation to be an amazing tool for learning to think before I act and also to create feel good chemicals in my body when I need them.

I also get monthly energy work sessions to ensure I am not picking-up any energy from others that may lead to a relapse as well as continuing my self-mastery.  When we are channels for light and truth it is much harder for these negative energies to have anything to stick to.

If you'd like some Energy Work and/or Hypnotherapy, MediCupping, FIR Sauna Therapy or general counseling on the subject please let me know.  I'd be happy to consult with you in person and get you set-up with the perfect plan.

Thanks for reaching out!  I'm so happy to hear you have the desire and are moving into a better place.  Just remember never to give up no matter how many times you're knocked down!  Each failure is just a learning experience for the next go-round!

I know you'll do great and succeed when the time is right.  Live and feel as though you have already attained this state of peace and liberation and it will surely come to you.
